Welcome to Storytime for the week of May 6

Welcome to ‘Storytime’ for Wednesday May 6th. Congratulations to Anya who won the original oil painting by Lucy Poscente. I had a busy day catching up on prize deliveries!!! It was so nice to see the winners in person … from a distance of course. This week we read a funny, light book by Jill Murphy entitled Five Minutes’ Peace. Peace may seem a little hard to come by during this time of physical distancing. It will certainly be easier as the weather gets warmer but while we are all predominantly working and learning indoors currently we may have to be intentional about carving out a little personal space and downtime.

Your challenge this week is simple:

1. create 5 minutes (or 10 minutes) of peace for your mom (or someone significant in your life) on Mother’s Day

2. create 5 minutes (or 10 minutes) of peace for yourself anytime this week

If you complete one you receive one entry to the draw, if you complete both you receive two entries to the draw. Please email me at michelle.rawlins@uppercanadachorus.com to let me know what you did!

I look forward to hearing from you all!
